Love Mumbai is printed on handmade paper and crafted with care by local designers and crafts people. The hand-woven silk covers were developed in partnership with Sonam Dubal, the Delhi-based fashion designer; the bookmarks were hand-stitched in Bangalore by Chandrashekar of Metaphor; and the rich red Mysore silk bags that the books come in are by Sonali Sattar of Hidden Harmony.
Printed on eco-friendly & non-bleached handmade paper, with hand-printed Tibetan raw silk cover (known as ‘burrey’ or ‘tsen’; handwoven in South Assam, India). Presented in a handmade silk pouch, the entire production process is child-labour free.

Many loyal customers only buy their shoes from here. Must-buys include the Swarovski slippers for Rs.3,950. Traditional hand-made Kolhapuri chapals are available in many colours for Rs990. Make sure to see the footprint left by famous artist M.F. Hussain, who often appears barefoot in public and who redesigned the store in 2004. |
