This bespoke ‘end to end’ travel service begins with a conversation about your Indian dreams and what makes your heart sing. Fiona then creates a unique itinerary in collaboration with you. She partners with India’s leading on the ground operator to seamlessly deliver the itinerary to the highest standard. This becomes as close to effortless travel as is possible in India and gives you unrivalled access to India’s most authentic and interesting people, places and events tailored around your specific interests and preferences.

How it works

There is an initial consultation fee of $USD 250, payable in advance. The process begins with a phone call to discuss the trip. Fiona then prepares an initial itinerary outline based on this detailed conversation about the goals and style of the trip. Together you and Fiona will review the outline and collaborate to enhance the journey.

Once agreed, Fiona then works with Delhi based, Banyan Tours and Travel to finalise the itinerary. Banyan checks hotel/experience availability and prepares an overall costing. Once satisfied Fiona presents this back to you for any adjustments.

Upon your approval, you are introduced to Banyan directly and they will take a deposit and begin booking the trip. Fiona remains just a phone call, text or email away on both the lead up to the trip and during the journey.

Banyan cover Fiona’s time post the initial consultation. For repeat clients, the initial consultation fee is waived.


Is a phone call necessary, can’t I email?

Yes a real conversation is critical to the communication between us, so I can really understand what will make the trip very special. In my experience, a call is the most efficient and most effective way to collaborate. It is also a call that can’t be delegated, I need to get to know you and feel that we are on the same page about what works and doesn’t work for you.

How much will it cost?

This elite service is not for everyone; it is highly personalised and has an extensive, experienced team working on your behalf to deliver the ultimate Indian journey. Trip prices start from $USD 750 a day per room (one or two people) but may go considerably higher depending on the time of year, the level of accommodation selected and any special experiences that you choose. This per-day price includes the hotel accommodation, some meals, all transport including domestic flights, guides, monument entry fees, other exclusive experiences and also includes my on-going involvement in your journey.

Will it be more expensive than if I book it myself?

Yes, it will probably a little more expensive, however the benefits are likely to outweigh that price differential. Banyan, on my behalf, are able to negotiate with hotels and other suppliers to get very attractive rates and special benefits such as early check-ins, room upgrades, late checkouts and the like. They also provide experienced English speaking drivers in safe comfortable cars that are fitted out with Wi-Fi and always have refreshments to hand. Together we handpick the best guides who know not only how to share interesting information they also know how to avoid lines and crowds. In addition the prices include robust local offices and support teams, so that should something go wrong, like a medical issue or other emergency, they have infrastructure and experience on how to manage it. And, of course, you get on-going access to my knowledge and my network both when we design the trip and also when you are travelling.
