A striking and beautiful silver pendant, handcrafted in Rajasthan at least forty years ago with delicate floral motifs. It was most likely made in the town of Beawar in the district of Ajmer, about three hours from Jaipur. Originally this centrepiece would be flanked by several other pieces on both sides and worn on a thread necklace. Today the pendant is presented on a burgundy cord. It is mostly likely 800 silver, which is a good quality, with 80% silver and 20% alloy.
