The term malkha comes from the amalgamation of mulmul (fine, soft cotton, muslin) and khadi (hand-woven cotton) and is the name of a Trust in Hyderabad. They are committed to restoring Indian handloom fabric and supporting India’s small growers, spinners, ginners, dyers, and weavers. This particular piece is handloom woven cotton and has been coloured with a dark iron brown/black natural dye . Cold hand-wash separately.
